On the forth race of 2021’s season and first Endurance race of the year, Miguel Paludo partnered up with Denis Dirani for the 300km of Interlagos.

The BRANDT team qualified on the Friday 13th on P3, leaving high hopes for the race on the next day.

On the Saturday morning, the cars left the pit box for the grid formation with a very light drizzle but still using the slick tires.

On the start of the race, Miguel was held back on the Senna “S” by the pole position and a short 2 wide battle with the second position (which dropped to fourth), keeping MP on the third position, on a tight position behind the pole qualifier, which dropped to second. 70 laps to go!

During the following laps, the BRANDT car was held back by the second position, increasing the gap to the leader.

After 6 laps, Miguel managed to overtake him with an amazing move on the main straight, granting the second position on the Senna “S” and the challenge to reach the first place.

On the 22nd lap, the first place made their first pitstop, putting us on the lead of the race. Seven laps after that, MP made BRANDT’s first pitstop of the race, putting Dennis Dirani on the wheel of the #7 Porsche. Dennis had a great pace during the race, decreasing the gap to the lead.

Around the 50th lap Dennis did our second stop, leaving the pitlane almost in the lead of the race!

Unfortunately, something unexpected happened on the lap 51: we had a fuel pump failure, putting an ending to the race for the BRANDT team.
