Race 1:
The track was cold and windy at São Paulo, with a little bit of drizzle during the day, but no need for wet tires. Miguel Paludo managed to qualify second for the first race.
Right at the first corner, at the Senna “S”, MP took the lead with a ferocious overtake.
From that moment to the end of the race, the BRANDT car remained on the lead, increasing the gap at each completed lap!
Great win for the #7 car.
Race 2:
On the next day, for the race that would put a closure to the Sprint Championship, the weather was more like the Interlagos track is known for. The sun came out, but not enough to warm the tarmac.
Miguel qualified 3rd and only needed a 5th place finish to grant the Sprint Championship cup, so when he got attacked by the 4th place, he didn’t put the race at risk when defending. The BRANDT car remained on 4th place for the whole race, holding the position as hard as Miguel Could.
By the time the race ended, the second place got punished and the the #7 car was in fact the third place at the podium.
A great weekend for the BRANDT team!
